The Cursed Grove is a Quest in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. The Cursed Grove is one of the Side Quests available to the player in the Fatesworn DLC. Side Quests are a type of optional activity and completing them is not necessary in order to move the story forward but may provide the player with additional XP, loot and other rewards.

 

Orla Devlin, a druid in the camp, believes that settlers' mistreatment of the local flora and fauna has caused the wild Fae to retaliate, cursing a nearby grove. She believes that I can dispel the nature magic by razing the cursed roots.

  • Raze the cursed roots
  • Defeat the Root Golem
  • Speak to Orla

 

The Cursed Grove Walkthrough

  • This quest can be acquired by speaking to Orla Devlin who can be found up a small hill in the northwest side of Revival. She enlists your aid in burning out some cursed flora devouring settlers and passersby alike in the area.
  • You will need to find some roots glowing with purple energy and burn them with any source of fire damage. This includes items, magic and weapons that deal fire damage. There are four such roots that you need to burn. The first is just behind Orla, down the hill. There is another root slightly south from the first. The third root is to the east of Orla and the fourth is to the northwest. Burning each root will cause an angry Thresher to attack you.
  • Once all four roots are burned and all four Threshers are defeated, a Root Golem will appear and attack Orla. Rush back to her and help her defeat the creature.
  • Speak to Orla to complete the quest.
