Character Creation for Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning allows players to fully customize their hero. In creating a character, players are given the opportunity to select a race, gender, presets, and a couple of facial and cosmetic structures. This page covers information regarding character creation.
KoA: Re-Reckoning Character Creation
Body Type
Choosing male or female gender will affect our character's appearance, but not his or her Skills, Abilities or Stats.

Race
Once the gender is selected, it will be the turn to choose the race of our hero. There are 4 different Races that players can choose during character creation, which not only changes the appearance but it also affects its Skills points.
Patron God
Once we have chosen the Gender and the Race of our character, we can select one of the different Patron Gods, which are the Gods of Amalur. Patron Gods in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning bless our hero, so he or she benefits from some Stat Bonuses from the start of the game. Available Patron Gods will depend on the Race we have previously selected. Additionally, we also have the chance to choose no Patron God.
Customize
In the last step of Character Creation, we can fully customize the appearance of the character. We can first choose an appearance from 5 preset options, which affects facial features. Additionally, we can still modify both the facial features and hairstyle in detail. We are also able to add accessories, such as Jewellery or Tattoos.
Character Name
Once we've finished the customization above, a cutscene begins. Almost at the end of the cutscene, we can change the character's name, or keep the default.
