Races in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning refers to the hero's physical characteristics. There are 4 different races that players can choose from during Character Creation, which changes the appearance of the hero but it also affects its skills. Gnome

Determined. Strategic. Ingenious

Gnomes are practical and pragmatic. A long-thinking people, they approach all problems and goals rationally

Summer Fae

Enigmatic. Magical. Eternal

The Summer Fae, also known as the Seelie, represent growth, warmth, and the emergence of life

 

Winter Fae

Harsh. Unyielding. Inevitable

The Winter Fae represent the waning of the seasons, the entropy and death which are a necessary part of the Great Cycle

Bolgan

Violent

Bolgans are one of the giant races of Amalur, but unlike the Kollosae, they are quite violent and do not seem to possess much intelligence.

 

Kollossae

Strong and Faithful

The Kollossae are a race of giants who live in the Teeth of Naros

Jottun

Intelligent and dangerous

  Jottuns are large, brown-skinned giant-like enemies who generally wield large hammere

 

Ettin

Warlike and primitive

Ettins are a savage race of two-headed giants that are found in the wilds of Amalur
