The Commendation is a Quest in Kingdoms of Amalur:Re-Reckoning. The Commendation is a Faction Quest available to the player. Completing The Commendation will give additional loot, items, experience or equipment, but it is not necessary to complete the game's main story.

 

I can join the Warsworn at Shieldring Keep, but if I want Ost Ordurar's recommendation -- and a payment of gold -- I must defeat two Red Legion captains -- Osgar and Medgar Krast -- and return with their daggers as proof. Osgar hides in the woods north of Gorhart and Medgar on the road east of town.

The Commendation Walkthrough

  • Speak to Ost Ordura at Gorhart. You are tasked with killing two bandit leaders of the Red Legion, the Krast Brothers and return their daggers as proof.
  • Travel north of Gorhart to find the Krast brothers.
  • After killing the brothers and retrieving their daggers, return to Ost Ordura to complete the quest.
