The Antelope is a Quest in Kingdoms of Amalur:Re-Reckoning. The Antelope is a Side Quest available to the player. Completing The Antelope will give additional loot, items, experience or equipment, but it is not necessary to complete the game's main story.

 

Marga believes that malicious sprites have transformed her betrohed, Oreyn, into an antelope. After Oreyn disappeared, an antelope wearing his silver necklace emerged in his place. The antelope was startled and ran north into Lorca-Rane. Marga wants me to locate the beast and bring it back to her.

The Antelope Walkthrough

  • Speak to Marga Sammoc in the forests of Lorca-Rane. She tells you about her beloved who she believes was turned into an antelope by malicious sprites.
  • Follow the quest marker to find a bowl of antelope meat with Oreyn Vilsar's necklace inside.
  • Nearby, you find two Jottun guarding a cage. Take them out and speak with the prisoner Oreyn Vilsar. He says he was captured as he was trying to escape from Marga Sammoc as he is not ready to commit to getting married and having children so he fooled Marga into thinking he was turned into an antelope. You can opt to release him from the cage.
  • Return to Marga Sammoc and choose whether to tell the truth or that he was eaten by a Jottun. You can also persuade her to forget about him.
