Shine and Shadow is a Quest in Kingdoms of Amalur:Re-Reckoning. Shine and Shadow is a Side Quest available to the player. Completing Shine and Shadow will give additional loot, items, experience or equipment, but it is not necessary to complete the game's main story.
You've been asked by Avicenn Entelle, the lone survivor of a gnomish expeditionary force, to infiltrate Dellach and recover a dangerous set of artifacts -- called Shine and Shadow -- from an ettin brute, before he uses them to cause chaos.

- Recover the artifacts for Avicenn Etelle
Shine and Shadow Walkthrough
- Talk to Avicenn Etelle at Holnstead. He wants you to recover some dangerous artifacts from Dellach.
- Take the shortcut leading to the Theater of Fate that you unlocked during the main quest Into the Light.
- Near the entrance to the theater, you will find an Ettin Brute named Kurtorix. Defeat him and loot the daggers Shine and Shadow.
- Return to Avicenn Etelle to complete the quest. Choose the option "I did my job" to keep the daggers for yourself or "They may still be important" to turn in the daggers in exchange for gold.
