Night Barghest is a Quest in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. Night Barghest is one of the Side Quests available to the player in the Fatesworn DLC. Side Quests are a type of optional activity and completing them is not necessary in order to move the story forward but may provide the player with additional XP, loot and other rewards.

 

A savage beast plagues the area surrounding the village of Gale Crossing. I should investigate where this monster came from and how it hunts.

Night Barghest Walkthrough

  • Speak to Nina Taggert in Gale Crossing near the entrance to the south. She tells you of a creature stalking the village at nightfall.
  • In order to find the Night Barghest, sleep until 3 am and then head to Three Winds Crutch west of Gale Crossing. If you go to the location at the correct time, a quest marker should appear.
  • Locate the Night Barghest but wait a little while before you engage it. The Night Barghest has tremendous healing capabilities and you will not be able to kill it normally. Instead, wait until about 5am before engaging it as the daybreak will render its regenerative powers useless.
  • Kill the Barghest and return to Nina to complete the quest.
