His Brother's Keeper is a Quest in Kingdoms of Amalur:Re-Reckoning. His Brother's Keeper is a Side Quest available to the player. Completing His Brother's Keeper will give additional loot, items, experience or equipment, but it is not necessary to complete the game's main story.
Colm Alba, a sorcerer camped in the Red Marches, wants my help saving his brother, Giran, who has recently joined the death cult, Belen's Testament. Colm suspects the cult of strange doings in the Red Marches, and asked me to meet him in their base in the Marches, a ruin called the Tomb of Fyragnos.
His Brother's Keeper Important NPCs
His Brother's Keeper Objectives
- Help Colm Alba save his brother from the Belen's Testament cult
Walkthrough
- Speak to Colm Alba near the main road in the center of The Red Marches. He needs help saving his brother Giran Alba who has been inducted into the dangerous cult Belen's Testament.
- Follow Colm into the Tomb of Fyrnagos.
- Press onward with Colm while fighting enemies and avoiding or disarming the many traps in the tomb.
- Reaching the exit at the end, you meet Giran Alba and after a brief conversation, you will be forced to fight him. Note that there is a Persuasion check you can pass to convince Giran that he can leave the cult. However, this has no effect on the outcome as you will still end up fighting him.
- Once Giran is dead, speak to Colm to complete the quest.
His Brother's Keeper Rewards
- Gold.
- Experience Points.
- Tomb of Fyragnos Key.
His Brother's Keeper Notes & Tips
- This quest is part of four that take place in the town of Galette. The four quests are:
- Worth Fighting For
- His Brother's Keeper
- Her Righteous Fury
- Into the Breach
- As this particular chain of quests can be very buggy, it is advised to create a separate save file before accepting any of them in the event that a bug occurs and you need to revert. Do the quests in this order, one at a time to prevent them from bugging out. It is also advised to avoid fast-traveling until the completion of Into the Breach and use bed rolls where available to allow NPC quest givers to return to camp properly.
