A Master's Touch is a Quest in Kingdoms of Amalur:Re-Reckoning. A Master's Touch is a Side Quest available to the player. Completing A Master's Touch will give additional loot, items, experience or equipment, but it is not necessary to complete the game's main story.

 

Gavroch Valle, an apprentice without a master, has a broken sword he cannot mend. As it happens, the one man who could repair it is the one I met earlier, in the heights of Menetyre.

  • Help Gavroch repair the sword

 

A Master's Touch Walkthrough

  • Speak to Gavroch Valle at Ironfast Keep in Menetyre.
  • Find the Hermit Smith, Efyr Dynnwel in the canyons southwest of Ironfast Keep.
  • Efyr will first give you the quest Time of Need.
  • After completing Time of Need, Efyr will tell you to get some Master's Tallow to repair the sword.
  • Head to Hurvar's Doorsill northwest of Ironfast Keep.
  • Follow the linear path until you get to a room with a circular pit in the middle, the tallow is to the west side.
  • Leave Hurvar's Doorsill and return to Ironfast Keep.
  • Speak to Efyr to complete the quest.

  • You can receive this quest before completing a Time of Need, but you must complete a Time of Need to complete A Master's Touch.
  • After completing this quest, Efyr can be found in Ironfast Keep as well as his original location.
