Factions in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is represented as various groups of individuals that share an aligned interest, beliefs, and standards that make them distinct from one another. As the "Fateless One", you are tasked to uncover the secrets and to reshape the fate of the world. Along the path to find truth and meaning, players will encounter a number of factions that will want to aid the hero, and as the hero meets certain factions, they can join one or more factions that may be advantageous in terms of uncovering secrets and acquiring knowledge that can help towards the hero's adventure. Each faction consists of its own story, quests, and characters; some offer houses that the Fateless One can own, others promise treasures untold, while the others can only be interacted with that add more depth to the story's lore.
