The Valley Cowl is a Cowl in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. The Valley Cowl is a head Armor piece that grants protection to damage, and may also provide different types of buffs to the player. The Valley Cowl is part of an Armor Set, meaning that when simultaneously equipped with at least another Armor piece of the same set, the player may receive a bonus to defense, offense or passive capabilities.

The Valley represents a division in the lives of those fated with this card. For better or for worse, the challenges ahead will split them in two directions. Usually, this is metaphorial.
