Shards in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning are materials used to craft Gems by Sagecrafting. Each Shard has an effect and a clarity that will determine the resulting properties. Player can upgrade the clarity of cloudy and lambent Shards at a Sagecraft Altar by combining two similar Shards to produce one Shard of a higher clarity.
