Primal Cowl is a Cowl in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. Primal Cowl is a head Armor piece that grants protection to damage, and may also provide different types of buffs to the player. Primal Cowl is part of an Armor Set, meaning that when simultaneously equipped with at least another Armor piece of the same set, the player may receive a bonus to defense, offense or passive capabilities.
This ancient armor is but simple cloth, but raw mana traces patterns over its surface, forming glyphs that are almost as old as spellcraft itself. It is designed to heighten the user's ability to channel Primal Magic.

- Primal Cowl are given by Secandra as a reward for completing the quest Ascension, at the end of Teeth of Naros DLC if the Beckoned favors Sorcery.
