Hope of the Fatesworn Cuirass is a Cuirass in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. Hope of the Fatesworn Cuirass is an Armor piece equipped on the Chest slot which grants protection to damage, and may also provide different types of buffs to the player. Hope of the Fatesworn Cuirass is part of an Armor Set, meaning that when simultaneously equipped with at least another Armor piece of the same set, the player may receive a bonus to defense, offense or passive capabilities. This armor piece was made available with the Fatesworn DLC.

Believed to have been forged and hidden by the earliest members of the Warsworn guild, a cult of brutal Niskaru hunters called the Firstsworn. Wrapped in the most powerful of ancient Erathi magic, this suit of armor was intended only for the most powerful of heroes.

Hope of the Fatesworn Cuirass is part of the Hope of the Fatesworn Armor Set which consists of five Armor pieces. The other parts are:

• Hope of the Fatesworn Helm
• Hope of the Fatesworn Gauntlets
• Hope of the Fatesworn Chausses
• Hope of the Fatesworn Greaves

Unlike all other Armor Sets in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, the Hope of the Fatesworn set does not have any stat requirements for Might, Finesse or Sorcery, nor does it have any Level Requirements.

Set Bonuses

Hope of the Fatesworn Armor Set grants the following Bonuses:

• 2 Pieces equipped:

  • +1 to Might Abilities

  • +1 to Finesse Abilities

  • +1 to Sorcery Abilities

• 3 Pieces equipped:
  • Spawn a barrier when getting hit that blocks all magic damage for a limited time (30s cooldown)
• 4 Pieces equipped:
  • Enemies touching the barrier receive a slowdown effect
• 5 Pieces equipped:
  • Immunity against the Chaos Barrier of Telogrus
